A few months ago I was surfing the Net and came across to the news that some Preacher from US namely Harold Camping is warning (informing) the world about the "Worlds Ends" on May 21, 2011.
I searched on this, but did not get any exact and complete information. Then I searched even more harder and deeper on Net, and the result really surprised me !! I get to know much more details on this topic and here I am sharing it all with you. So that, you dont have to waste your time on Internet to search and look for well known and knowledgeable information.
So here we go....
Who is Harold Camping ??
Harold Egbert Camping (born July 19, 1921) is a Christian radio broadcaster and president of Family Stations, Inc., a California based religious broadcasting network, including more than 150 outlets in the United states, as well as a Website.
Camping teaches that a Biblical calendar has been hidden according to Daniel 12:9, Revelation 22:10 detailing the imminent end of the world (with alleged Biblical evidence pointing to the date for the Rapture as May 21, 2011); of the "End of the church age" (which asserts that churches are no longer the vehicle used by God for salvation, 1 Peter 4:17); and of predestination (Ephesians 1:4-5), according to which God determined before the beginning of the world which individuals are to be saved.
His Views :
Harold Camping says that he is convinced (or at least he does a good job acting convinced) that the judgment day will begin on May 21, 2011 and after five months the world will be completely obliterated on October 21, 2011.
Camping exhorts his listeners to abandon their churches, which he believes are now controlled by Satan, and instead spend their time begging and pleading God for mercy on judgment day. The point being that beginning May 21, 2011 five months of great upheaval and calamity will grip the world. People will suffer and die of injuries and starvation. A number of true believers will be selected to be transported to heaven (rapture) and the rest will be left behind to be completely destroyed as the universe implodes into nothingness.
Confirmations :
1.
The Bible tells us in Matthew 24:32 that when the state of Israel gets established in the Middle East, then we have to know that Judgment Day is near. Israel got established in the Middle East on May 14, 1948. From this date until May 21, 2011 (Judgment Day), there are 23,017 days or 23 x 1,000 +17 days. In the Bible, the number 23 has to do with judgment, the number 1,000 has to do with completeness, and the number 17 has to do with Heaven into which the true believers (the saved) will be raptured on May 21, 2011. This does not seems coincidental to me.
2.
There are exactly 7,000 years to the very day between the day the Flood started in Noah's day and May 21, 2011. This cannot be by chance and it can be shown and proven. From the Bible, it can be shown that the Flood occurred in 4990 BC in the 2nd month, on the 17th day of the month of the Biblical calendar of that day (Genesis 7:11). 4990 + 2011 - 1 = 7,000 years. Also, May 21, 2011 happens to fall on the 17th day of the 2nd month of the Biblical calendar of today which is still being used by the Jews. So you have 7,000 years to the very day between the two dates.
3.
From the Bible, it can be shown that Jesus was crucified on April 1, 33 AD. Going from this date to May 21, 2011, it can be shown that there are exactly 722,500 days inclusively. Breaking down this number into its prime and important numbers, we get the following:
5 x 10 x 17
x 5 x 10 x 17 = 722,500
We can see how 5 x 10 x 17 was doubled up, and when something or a statement is doubled up in the Bible, it means this thing will certainly come to pass soon (Genesis 41:32). Moreover, the number 5 has to do with the work of the cross. The number 10 has to do with the completion of the work of the cross and this completion will take place on May 21, 2011. The number 17 has to do with Heaven into which the believers will be raptured on May 21, 2011. This too is not by chance. It was all predestined and worked out by God before the foundation of this world.
Scary....isnt it ?
I myself a Christian, believes somewhat in all above "confirmations" but deep in my Heart I tell to myself that it wont happen and that day will be just like an another day.
While this isn't the first time that the end of the world has been predicted, there are many believers that will adhere to the date, even if it passes. "It would be like telling the Wright brothers that every other attempt to fly has failed, so you shouldn't even try,"
